If you’re struggling to find your purpose in life, you’ll gain strength hearing today’s Preschool All Stars story: Becki Reed was a dyslexic mom of 5 (who never considered herself a "Teacher") and decided to team up with another mom to create a thriving preschool!
Becki found Joy by chance, way before the concept of Preschool All Stars was even a thing. She didn't know why, but she was drawn to the idea of starting a preschool. After 3 years, she and her partner were able to expand, hire another teacher, and build their own curriculum. They were the first people in Joy's "Inner Circle," which taught them to value what they offer, and got them on track with fundraising and their financials.
After Covid hit, they decided to close and go their separate ways. But with the confidence she has gained from not only teaching but running her own preschool, Becki has plans to start a program for kids struggling with dyslexia. After finally getting a diagnosis for dyslexia as an adult, she feels this is her new calling.
